Discussion: Hong Kong Bus Uncle



1.Consider Bus uncle or Chris Crocker's "Leave Whitney Alone"-- briefly describe the video

This video is from reality which started with a man, Bus Uncle, who was talking phone loudly, and a young boy just asked him to considerate others. Yet, Bus Uncle was mad about it, and began arguing with the young boy. Plus, Bus Uncle used a lot of foul languages to express his feeling.


2. Report some positive and negative comments about this new abillity for computer users to make and widely distribute and respond to online films (such as the above three videos). (eg see Leadbeater, We- think, xviii; Burgess and Green, Youtube, Cambridge: Polity, 2009,10..., 21-30).

Positive:

- normal person can also gain attention from the public
- we can share our lives to the world through online films
- we can make our own work without skillful technique.

Negative:
- people might have less privacy
- we can easy to attack someone personally through internet
- some films may be harmful to childerns , like violent films.
